We wrapped up our Road to the Son following Paul as he tells others about Jesus in his time and even today through the many letters that he wrote and are preserved for us in the bible to this day. Our color for today was green reminding us to GO and make followers of Jesus who follow Jesus. Our verse for today was…

“Everyone who calls on the Name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:13

What an absolute joy it has been to serve with this year’s team. Thank you so much for giving of your time, talent and treasure to ensure that our kids would get to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. The building is just about back to its former glory and I’m about to tip over but looking back I wouldn’t have it any other way. Antonio, our facilities director and Jose have been so gracious with us as our kids have blown by floor to floor like mini tornadoes all week. Our nursery team has been patiently tucked away on the second floor for three hours each day watching over the little ones and the administrative team has not only checked us in but also served as security alongside Bobby who was the chief of security, and our coffee guy. Bobby also took pictures and video with Inci and edited video for our general assemblies.  Erica and her son Alexis served as our AV crew and our kitchen team did an outstanding job, led by Mrs. Lori, keeping us energized and free of any food that we’re allergic to. The craft team has done another fine job keeping those creative juices flowing and Colette has helped us all week memorize our verses. I cannot express enough how proud I am of all the adults and teenagers that have made this week happen. Mikki, my daughter and our children’s ministry coordinator, has done above and beyond what I’ve expected, keeping me on my toes and keeping us on track to make this year run smoother and enjoyable for both our children and our SST team of volunteers.

We’re not done just yet. Sunday morning at the 10:30 am service our SST kids will be singing, Superhero, one the songs they learned and sang every day this week. We hope you can be there to sing along with us.

God is Good. God bless you all, see you Sunday!
